2012 Yard Haunt

We skipped the party this year but we did the yard haunt.

I just wish the weather would cooperate. It was cold and snowed – yes, SNOWED – though, happily, it didn’t stick.

People loved the cat’s eyes and our good ol’ flying ghost!

  2. Sweet! I wanna decorate like that one of these years. Is that one of your girls as Freddy? If so, I’m jealous. 🙂 My daughter won’t even look at a NoES cover let alone dress up in a horror-ish costume LOL. (She was Will Turner this year and is going as Effie Trinket next year.)

We too had wind and snow (ours stuck) from Hurricane Sandy (in Ohio!) so the kids had to trick-or-treat in the cold and drizzle. But they didn’t mind; there was low turnout due to the weather and people were giving them handfuls of candy.

    Thank you all!

Leah – yes, that’s my oldest daughter and HUGE NoES/Robert Englund fan! This is too funny. Our kids are opposites of us. I think Effie Trinket would be an awesome costume – strangely, I didn’t see ANY Hunger Games costumes around here this year.

As for the weather, as long as free candy is involved, there’s always kids that’ll stick it out!
