The End is in Sight

After a phenomenal writing week, I’m within 6 scenes of finishing my first draft! The one that’s taken me, what? THREE YEARS to write.

That is, if nothing more pops up that I didn’t expect, and, well, that’s always a possibility – but “optimistic” is my middle name from here on out, folks.

I’m gonna push through to the end.

Punch it out.

Git ‘er done.

How are your projects going? Are you happy with your progress?

You know, three years isn’t too bad. I was reading about one author, Brenda Novak, who said it took her five years to learn the craft of writing and get her first book done. You are smokin’, according to her timeline. 🙂

Here’s the link to Brenda’s story:

    Thanks Diane!

Thanks for the link, Angela, that was interesting! I guess I’m not doing too bad after all.

Tell me what you REALLY think.
