Sometimes I wish I was as clever as Bugs Bunny. He was always three steps ahead of everybody and his plans always worked (Except when he took that left turn at Albuquerque. Hey, maps can be confusing!). Not to mention his sense of humor and cool attitude. I could use some of that mojo right now.

I was wrestling with some of my characters that are supposed to be very different from me. But I was having trouble figuring out how they would react and what they would say in certain circumstances. I kept writing what I would do and say. Yes, I had figured out their backgrounds and motivations, etc., etc., but for some reason that wasn’t working, or not completely anyway.
I remembered Myers-Briggs.
Well, friends of the paper-and-ink and cyber variety if not exactly of the flesh-and-blood type. I’ll take help however I can get it!
Like many writers, I’ve read a lot of the books, the blogs, and the magazines out there for writers. Sometimes all it takes is someone at the right moment, explaining things in a different way, for the heavens to open and angels to sing! Suddenly, the concept is clear and I stop banging my head on my writing table.
